TV Land - ‘Health Services’
Was glad to hear prior to shooting that Loni Anderson had done industrials before she broke out on television.  This meant she was no stranger to walk ‘n talks, of which there were several in this production.  Love the cheesy/happy, apparently helium-influenced music track.  Great production staff working for C2 Creative and a good job by DP John Dreyer on the whole project.

Canon - ‘Creative Office’
Walked in to the location and knew exactly how I wanted to shoot it, and thus, pushed strongly for its approval with the client and production company, despite it being on the edge of our budget.  Upon shooting, the lead actress, Melinda Wade, made it easy.  She walks through the location like she owns it, without any showiness.  Right on.  Nice work by DP Glen Mordeci on all the Canon stuff.

TV Land - ‘Universe’
Some actors you work through every beat with, others you just try to create an environment they feel free in.  John Ratzenberger came in with a good idea of how to play this -- my work with him beyond some technical cues was to structure the gags and dialogue a bit.

Canon - ‘CIO’
Came out well, though never found a way to really nail the staircase shot at the end.  This, along with the other Canon pieces, comprise the keynote film for Canon’s technology expo that they hold every five years.

TV Land - ‘Classroom’
Didn’t know what to expect with the cast, though in hindsight, it should have been obvious.  No rehearsal time, one day to shoot multiple scenes, blah, blah, blah -- and the cast was game, quick, and well, hyper-professional.  Talented actors who’ve had long term careers, what a shock.

Canon - ‘Photographer’
Nice job by the lead actor, David Coburn.  This location was a second choice, the other had architectural features I felt would have presented more visual opportunity as we moved through the space.

TV Land - ‘Locker Room’
Same story as the other TV Land stuff -- no rehearsal, two hours to shoot, etc.  A good plan, and the experienced, quickly up-to-speed cast makes it work. Some hilarious outtakes the we unfortunately couldn’t fit in.
