Filmed at a Seagram’s event at a club in NYC, this shoot was by nature semi-organized mayhem -- we put our cast right in the middle of the fray. You plan what you can and then live by your wits and experience. Was a reunion between me and my old Aaton that I’d shot several hundred thousand feet of film with before selling. Rented it for this shoot -- miss that cam! Thought we did very well here for Seagram’s on a tight budget.

University of South Carolina - ‘Palms’
One of several spots I directed and shot for the University of South Carolina, a few of which won Gold Addy awards. Can still kick myself when I see the shot moving/pointing down at the three students on the grass -- despite the crane limitations, should have figured a way shoot it with a wider focal length; this would have enhanced the feeling of movement through the leaves. Get over it mate.

Conair - ‘Tunnel’
Nice forced perspective set. Used an interesting ring light rig on the end of a crane for the open-ing push. One of several spots I’ve directed and/or shot for Conair.

Zaxby’s - ‘Real’
My first crack at high-end food shooting. Utilized the Unilux strobe system which I’m experienced with. Nice food styling by Rich Ellis, and a great client to work with.

Shower to Shower - ‘Sunny Day’
Attractive location and cast, generally good weather -- half of cinematography is what you’re pointing the camera at.
